The Office of Veterans Affairs (VA) is located in the Office of the Registrar. The Office of Veteran Affairs assists military veterans and their dependents who are eligible for VA educational benefits. The Veteran Affairs Certifying Official is responsible for certifying and monitoring veterans’ enrollment, academic progress, and other academic information.

The Office of Veteran Student Services assists veterans in making a smooth transition from military life to that of a student. The Office is dedicated to provide services specific to each student veteran’s needs to ensure that their transition to and journey through college is as successful as possible. UH Manoa, Student Veteran Organization
The Student Veteran Organization is a Registered Independent Organization for veterans of all branches of military service. The Student Veteran Organization advocates for veterans on the UH Manoa campus and also provides a welcoming social atmosphere for those transitioning from military to college. The organization meets every first and third Friday each month from 1700-1800 at the Veteran Student Lounge in Saunders Hall, Room 222.
