Adeline Kline is the APRN based at Aiea Intermediate School, and serving the Aiea-Moanalua-Radford complex area. Kline has been a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) since 2012, specializing in primary care, and is board-certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Her work history includes retail health, and most recently, working in a busy Urgent Care in Washington state at a clinic located in a high-need, underserved area. Prior to her work as a nurse practitioner Kline worked as an RN at the nation’s first hospital in Philadelphia. At Pennsylvania Hospital, she worked first as a telemetry RN and then as a cardiac ICU nurse. She holds a BSN in nursing from Drexel University and her MSN is from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also been an associate professor of nursing for Drexel and Purdue Universities.
In addition to her nursing experience, Kline has a BA in environmental studies and a strong interest in the interaction of our health and environment. She has worked with children her entire life, serving as a nanny while she put herself through college. She enjoys engaging children in changing behaviors to provide a healthier future for themselves and their families. She is an active member of the American Nursing Association and National Association of School Nurses.
