Biography

Erin Rayl is the Complex Area COVID-19 Resource RN for the Kau-Keaau-Pahoa Complex Area and will be based out of Naalehu Elementary School. In addition to the traditional Hawaii Keiki Nurse role, Erin will be available to provide support to schools within the complex as a COVID-19 health resource, educator, and responder. Erin will work to help support the school health assistant and will also be working closely with Lyndsey Willie, the complex area APRN, and Jeanette Gilbert, the complex area support RN.

Erin graduated with a BSN from Northern Arizona University. Erin’s nursing experience is in urgent care and long-term care, but her passion has always been rooted in pediatrics. She is looking forward to providing the services needed to help enhance the health and wellbeing of her students and community. She also believes her first-hand nursing experience and knowledge of combating COVID-19 can be of integral value to the community’s safety during these trying times.
