Dr. Ng-Osorio is responsible for the assessments and evaluation for both the Department of Nursing and Department of Dental Hygiene. She also works with graduate IKE AO PONO students as an advisor. Prior to coming to UH Manoa Nursing and Dental Hygiene, Dr. Ng-Osorio worked as a researcher at Kamehameha Schools focusing on the K-12 internal and external programs.

Research Focus

Her research focuses on Native Hawaiian adolescents, healthy lifestyle behaviors including physical activity and eating habits, as well as the relationship between education and health outcomes. She also provides training and workshops on the qualitative methodology Photovoice.
