Lyndsey Willie is a board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) with special interest and experience in community care, nursing education, and emergency medicine. She is the APRN for Waiakea High School and the Hilo-Waiakea Complex Area on Hawaii Island.
Lyndsey was a first generation college student and minority at her university. She received a BSN from Southeastern Louisiana University. While working as a registered nurse in the emergency department, she continued her education at Southern University and A&M college where she received a MSN. Lyndsey is Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certified and has special training in central venous access. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, and the National Association of School Nurses.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being in nature, hiking, sailing, gardening, cooking, reading, yoga, music, and travel. She has visited 35 countries worldwide and values the unique perspective each has to offer.
