Biography

Mary Kenui is the Hawaii Keiki RN for the Farrington-Kaiser-Kalani Complex Area, based at Fern Elementary. As a Complex Area RN, Mary provides support to schools within the FKK Complex Area as a clinical treatment provider, COVID-19 health resource consultant, and health/wellness educator.

Mary graduated from Kapiolani Community College with an Associates Degree in Nursing in May 2016. She obtained a BSN (2017) and MSN (2019) from Western Governors University. Her future goals include procuring her National School Nurse Certification and attaining a Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Before joining Hawaii Keiki in 2021, Mary worked as a school nurse at Peterson Elementary in the Kodiak Island Borough School District in Alaska. As a mother to a school-aged daughter suffering from asthma, Mary appreciates and understands the significant role Hawaii Keiki nurses play in our schools in safeguarding the health of our children. Mary is passionate about school health and maintains an active membership with the National Association of School Nurses.
