Rosalie Garcia has been a nurse for more than 13 years in a blend of different areas including clinical staff, informatics, nursing education, management, and leadership. She has practiced in many different settings gaining knowledge and experience to contribute to the advancement of health care.

Clinical Practice

Clinical nursing primarily within cardiac, nursing educator, management, informatics, leadership, patient safety and quality of care. Trained physicians for electronic medical records (Cerner) including CPOE. Planned, implemented, and evaluated education projects for a hospital. Nursing research, curriculum development within a university setting, lead faculty instructing and guiding other clinical nursing staff, trained nursing students for electronic medical records, charge nurse of different clinical units, and nursing supervisor in a home health agency. Planned, monitored, and evaluated strategic deployments of airmen during emergency responses while in the U.S. Air Force.
