Hands-On Learning at Health Fair Benefits Hawaii Keiki and Nursing Students

Undergraduate UHM Nursing students from N210: Health Promotion Across the Lifespan participated in the Annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 12, 2014. This was the fourth year N210 nursing students have participated in this activity held at the Bishop Museum.

Students created health promotion teaching plans for their topics early in the spring semester then developed short teaching sessions with accompanying posters, handouts, pamphlets, games, and other activities to enhance learning for children and their parents.
