Hawaii Keiki Participates in the 32nd Annual Children & Youth Day

The Hawaii Keiki: Healthy & Ready to Learn Program attended the 32nd annual Children’s & Youth Day celebration on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Hawaii State Capitol’s Diamond Head Lawn. Established in 1993, this annual statewide event brings together more than 90 community organizations and attracts more than 10,000 attendees each year to celebrate and support Hawaii’s children and youth through educational activities, resources and entertainment.

Hawaii Keiki nurses and staff attend Children and Youth day event

Hawaii Keiki provided fun, hands-on health education activities led by nurse practitioners, registered nurses and health technicians. Keiki enjoyed spinning the dental education prize wheel, painted tooth-themed watercolors and learned proper brushing techniques with the help of a stuffed animal shark demonstration. Families also received free stickers, toothbrushes and Hawaii Keiki program flyers.

The program is proud to be part of Children & Youth Day and extends its gratitude to the event organizers and sponsors for creating opportunities for keiki and families to learn, connect, and thrive.
