Hawaii Keiki is a partnership between UH Manoa Nursing and the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE) and sits at the intersection of education and health to support the DOE to achieve student, school, and system success.

nursing student interacts with keiki volunteer The program enhances and builds school based health services that screen for treatable health conditions; provide referral to primary health care and patient centered medical home services; prevent and control communicable disease and other health problems; and provide emergency care for illness or injury.

Recruitment for Eight Full-Time Positions:

  • (8) Advance Practice Nurses (APRN)
    • Oahu (Kaimuki-McKinley-Roosevelt, Aiea-Moanalua-Radford, Leilehua-Mililani-Waialua, Campbell-Kapolei)
    • Maui (Hana-Lahainaluna-Lanai-Molokai, Baldwin-Kekaulike-Maui)
    • Hawaii Island (Honokaa-Kealakehe-Kohala-Konawaena, Hilo-Waiakea)

Seeking eight APRN’s with effective interpersonal skills and positive relationship building experience. Must be a team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
