Purpose

The UHM Nursing Research & Scholarship Poster Festival will include networking, a keynote speaker, and feature poster presentations on research, evidence-based practice, quality improvement and other scholarly work.

Event is free to students, faculty, staff and the public, all are welcome. Food and refreshments will be provided. Advance registration online is preferred; however, on-site registration will also be available.

Who Can Apply to Participate

  • UH Mānoa Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing (NAWSON) undergraduate and graduate students, NAWSON faculty and Hawaii Keiki nurses.
  • Nursing colleagues from Tripler Army Medical Center, The Queen’s Medical Center, Hawaii Pacific Health and Federally Qualified Health Centers in Hawaii

Notification of Acceptance

Abstracts will be reviewed and scored based on how well each element is clearly articulated and its consistency/relevancy to the project being described. Individuals selected to participate will be notified by March 31, 2023.

Parking

The Lower campus parking structure is a $5.00 flat rate 5:00 A.M. to midnight. Stalls are also located near Campus Center, Kuykendall Hall, Varney Circle and Kennedy Theater. The parking pay stations accept credit cards and are located near the stalls in each lot. For more information, please visit the UH parking website.
