Dr. Marchetti is an Adjunct Faculty member at Boston College School of Nursing and practices as a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at LifeStance Health, where she provides psychotherapy and medication management for individuals across the lifespan. Dr. Marchetti is the former President, and current Massachusetts Representative of the New England Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Throughout her career as a clinician and academic, Dr. Marchetti has focused on the medical, forensic and mental health needs of women, children and young adults.

About the Frances A. Matsuda Chair

Dr. Frances A. Matsuda Sano established the endowment in 1991 and requested that the Chair be used to develop knowledge, processes and structures to improve health outcomes for women.  The Chair provides continued recognition of the investment Dr. Sano made with her life in support of community-based interventions to improve women’s health in the Pacific Basin. Dr. Sano was a native of Kauai who was a physician and held a PhD degree. She completed her higher education in Japan where she resided for nearly 60 years.

Dr. Holly B. Fontenot, PhD, APRN, WHNP-BC, FAAN is the Associate Dean for Research, the Frances A. Matsuda Chair in Women’s Health, & Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Parking

The Lower Campus Parking Structure (Zone 20) is a $5.00 flat rate 5 AM – Midnight or $3.00 per half hour in the upper campus green visitor parking stalls near Campus Center, Kuykendall Hall and Varney Circle.
