College of Health Science and Social Welfare Releases 2014 Hawaii Impact Summary
UH Manoa Nursing, in partnership with the John A. Burns School of Medicine, the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work, and the Office of Public Health released the first College Hawaii Impact Summary in early January 2014. With the goal of increasing interdisciplinary collaboration, the College of Health Science and Social Welfare (CHSSW) is committed to the mission of the College to serve society by increasing, disseminating, and sharing knowledge, wisdom, and values relating to the health and social welfare concerns of the people of Hawaii.
The 2014 Hawai’i Impact Summary is a comprehensive summary of the College education, applied research, and community service efforts reported by legislative district. Moving forward, the College will continue to address social accountability and expand the partnerships between schools to ensure a healthy future for all the people of Hawaii.
