UH Manoa Nursing’s Veterans to Bachelor of Science in Nursing initiative grant invites all UH Manoa Student Veterans to a welcome back celebration. Enjoy free pizza, courtesy of the Veterans to Nurses Program and the Student Activity & Program Fee Board and camaraderie with fellow U.S. Veterans and learn more about how UH Manoa can serve you. For guests 21 years of age or over, beer can be purchased from the Manoa Gardens bar adjacent to Hemenway Courtyard.

Veterans to Nursing
The Veteran to BSN Program is designed to facilitate veteran student success in the nursing program from admission to graduation and beyond. The program aims to increase the number of BS prepared nurses in Hawaii, improve employment opportunities for veterans, and provide support services. This project is/was supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under UF1HP26981 Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention Veterans’ Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program for $1,050,000.
