Offering Mental Health Services to Support HIDOE Students
The Hawaii Keiki (HK): Healthy & Ready to Learn Program offers HIDOE students in select schools virtual and confidential mental health services. Mental health services are provided by a licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) who have specialized training and credentials in mental health. The HK mental health team is supported by HK nurses located at HIDOE schools to successfully identify students in need of additional support and to facilitate virtual visits.
Students are welcome to either walk-in or make an appointment through the health room. All appointments are conducted virtually.
