Biography

With over 35 years of experience in nursing, Dr. O’Brien has held roles in critical care education and management. She has taught in associate and baccalaureate degree nursing programs since 2008. At UH Mānoa Nursing, she is both coordinating and teaching courses in the Graduate Entry Program in Nursing.

She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Holistic Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau. Her interests include holistic health which she incorporates into her personal and professional practice.
