American Assembly for Men in Nursing at UH Manoa

Hawaii’s first and only chapter of the American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) has recently elected its inaugural board members. Founded at University of Hawaii Manoa, this local chapter AAMN@UHM, is dedicated to providing a forum for men and women to meet, discuss, and influence issues that affect men’s health and men as nurses.

Being embedded in such a diverse state, AAMN@UHM has additionally made it one of their objectives to promote the many benefits of a diversified nursing workforce through youth outreach, community events, and a monthly meeting series.
