Biography
Uilani Chow-Rule is an assistant professor for the UH Manoa Nursing undergraduate and Graduate Entry Program in Nursing programs. Her focus is to empower students to be proactive in their own education and to build their self-confidence. Born and raised in Hawaii, Uilani is proud of her multiethnic background and is especially interested in her Native Hawaiian heritage, specifically in how culture plays a role in the health, and well-being of the people in Hawaii.
She is the recipient of the Native Hawaiian Health scholarship from Hawaii Pacific University and received post-high school scholarship from Kamehameha School. She is the recipient of an IKE AO PONO scholarship from UH Manoa Nursing.
