Our Distinguished Speaker

Dr. Gregory Zimet, Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Co-Director for the Indianapolis Center for HPV Research

Dr. Gregory Zimet, Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Co-Director for the Indianapolis Center for HPV Research joins us at a pivotal time for HPV vaccination efforts. His talk, HPV Vaccination at Ages 9-10 Years: Benefits, Challenges, and Risks, will cover current research, policies, and more regarding this topic.

Parking

The Lower campus parking structure is a $5.00 flat rate 5:00 A.M. to midnight. Stalls are also located near Campus Center, Kuykendall Hall, Varney Circle and Kennedy Theater. About the Frances A. Matsuda Chair

Dr. Frances A. Matsuda Sano established the endowment in 1991and requested that the Chair be used to develop knowledge, processes and structures to improve health outcomes for women. The Chair provides continued recognition of the investment Dr. Sano made with her life in support of community-based interventions to improve women’s health in the Pacific Basin. Dr. Sano was a native of Kauai who was a physician and held a PhD degree. She completed her higher education in Japan where she resided for nearly 60 years.

Dr. Holly Fontenot, Associate Dean for Research, Frances A. Matsuda Chair in Women’s Health & Professor

Dr. Holly B. Fontenot, PhD, APRN, WHNP-BC, FAAN, FNAP is currently the Frances A. Matsuda Chair in Women’s Health for the Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing. She is also the Associate Dean for Research for the Department of Nursing and Professor.
