Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). On the FAFSA, you should list the University of Hawaii at Manoa, code number 001610, as one of the schools to receive your information. You must complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
The priority deadline is February 1st of every year. The priority date is to ensure that you will be awarded financial aid and that this aid will be disbursed by the start of school. Financial Aid Services (FAS) must receive all your required documents by this date to complete your file. Your application will not be processed until your file is complete.

Tuition & Fees
High School Direct Entry, Traditional Bachelor of Science Program, and UH West Oahu Pre-Nursing to Bachelor of Science Program
High School Direct Entry, Traditional Bachelor of Science (BS) Program, and UH West Oahu Pre-Nursing to Bachelor of Science Program students enroll through UH Manoa. Visit the Office of the Registrar’s Tuition & Fees page for the current tuition schedule. Tuition is charged per credit. Students enrolled in these programs will be assessed the nursing student professional fee. All tuition and fee charges at the University of Hawaii campuses are subject to change in accordance with requirements of State law and/or action by the Board of Regents or the University administration (official tuition schedules).
Online RN to Bachelor of Science Program
Online RN to BS nursing students enroll and register through the UH Manoa Outreach College. Tuition is charged per credit as illustrated in the table below. All students in this program will be charged resident tuition. The experiential portfolio is graded as pass or fail. The passing student is awarded the full credit for the course and the lab and will be charged a nominal processing fee. The student will not be charged tuition for the courses. The nursing student professional fee for the Online RN to BS program is waived. All tuition and fee charges at the University of Hawaii campuses and Outreach College are subject to change in accordance with requirements of State law and/or action by the Board of Regents or the University administration (official tuition schedules).
Non-Resident Tuition Exemptions
The University of Hawaii Board of Regents allows the following non-resident categories to pay the in-state tuition rate, or a lowered tuition rate. More information is available on the non-resident tuition exemption page.
Western Undergraduate Exchange
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a tuition program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) allowing out-of-state students from specific states a special University resident tuition rate. Please visit the UH Manoa Admission’s WUE page for more details.
