Student Nurses’ Association

The UHM Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) is a non-profit organization registered with the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is the school chapter of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA). The organization provides an opportunity for students to develop professional identity and leadership skills.

GEPN Student Advisory Council

The Gradate Entry Program in Nursing (GEPN) Student Advisory Council seeks to promote program quality, strives to foster community within the school, and, most importantly, advocates for student support.

Nursing Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership program coordinated by the Dean’s Office. Every fall, nursing students are invited to apply for student ambassador positions and are selected based on an application and interview.

Sigma Theta Tau International

Sigma Theta Tau International is the international honor society in nursing that promotes excellence in academic scholarship, research, and clinical nursing. Students must be nominated to become a member.

Dental Hygiene Student Organization

Dental hygiene student officers represent their class and participate in the coordination of various school activities.
