Biography

Leslie recently joined THSSC as the Associate Director for Quality and Patient Safety. Previously, she was a clinical performance improvement coordinator with The Queen’s Health Systems (QHS), involved with accreditation, performance improvement, professional development, data and root cause analysis, quality and patient safety. Her areas of practice also included critical care, organizational change and development, cultural competency, and patient centered care initiatives. Leslie has served in a variety of positions from staff nurse to nursing supervisor.

She is a family nurse practitioner by training and was a clinical provider with The Mind Body Medical Institute, an integrative health practice.

Leslie previously taught in the UH NAWSON as a clinical instructor and simulation facilitator. She has worked as a consultant with George Kanahele and Associates and as a medical technical advisor for Lorimar Productions filmed in Hawaii.
