Biography
William Siegman has been a nurse for more than 30 years, in many different critical care settings and has been involved in nursing education since 2012. His favorite part of nursing academia is when students realize they have found the answer they were in search of, and their self-esteem is built through this process. William’s teaching philosophy stems from a student-centered approach in which his sees his role to facilitate learning. In class and the clinical setting, he uses the Socratic Method by starting conversations with questions to stimulate critical thinking through the application of knowledge.
